Laura joined Salon Matarazzo in January 2010 after graduating from Evergreen Beauty College in Bellevue. In addition to her schooling and training at Salon Matarazzo, she has attended classes globally.
Laura has attended classes in Vancouver, BC, Santa Monica, California, and Hong Kong learning international hair techniques. First starting at Suki’s academy in Vancouver, BC she was introduced to the Vidal Sassoon curriculum. She later attended intensive hands on training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica focusing on the skills of classic looks. Through philosophy and hands on classes she improved her knowledge to control and craft the hair through processes involving shape, balance, and bone structure. Laura has also worked one on one with the International Creative Director of Toni&Guy Academy in Hong Kong. There she learned new techniques to apply to international hair textures. She worked on personalizing and perfecting finishing skills and reviewed the latest trends and fashion from London’s, “Fashion Week.” Laura enjoys keeping up with the latest trends and plans on traveling the world to perfect her craft in hair. “I believe every individual needs a strong foundation of a haircut in order to create shape, balance, and control, in a way that best suits them.”
