Coming from a family of artists in New York, Ron's artistic ability was always encouraged and nurtured. From there he found his creative outlet in hair cutting. He has taken his trade to the highest level, working first in New York, where he was involved in a family salon, and then in Beverly Hills where he trained and worked at Vidal Sassoon.

Ron approaches each haircut as a work of art, and with 50 years of experience he has worked with every type of hair texture and head shape. With his artistic eye and thorough attention to detail he has built a large and faithful clientele since moving to Seattle over 40 years ago — many of his clients have been coming to him since day one.

Outside of work Ron enjoys painting, hiking, golfing, and practicing yoga.

Annmarie is an Aveda-accredited and Vidal Sassoon-certified stylist. She possesses the knowledge and skills of both Aveda's cutting-edge curriculum and the renowned classic structured styles attributed to Sassoon. Her foundation in both techniques renders her an adept, versatile stylist — eager to deliver her clients exceptional, polished work.

Annmarie is amiable, attentive, and genuine. She enjoys collaborating with clients, working hard to create their visions, and regularly attends continuing-education classes to stay current with the latest trends and methods of cutting and coloring.

She specializes in creative color, blonding, barbering, and precision cutting, as well as tape-in extensions and keratin treatments — a creative, natural hair-care professional perfecting her craft for over a decade.

Eric has been doing hair for over 35 years. He graduated from Paul Mitchell Academy in Seattle and honed his skills at Le Salon Paul Morey, where he learned Sassoon and French style techniques. He has also trained with renowned stylists such as Toni & Guy, Hans Wolf, and Oribe.

Eric has a flair for design, precision, and styling — and he always listens to his clients' preferences. Whether you need a cut, a style, or a special-occasion hairdo, Eric can create a look that suits you.

He has also showcased his talent in fashion shows and photo shoots throughout his career. A master at his craft, Eric loves making people look good through his hair skills.

Lorane has been doing hair for 45 years, and her clients have been coming to her for over 40 years — working in New York, Seattle, and Beverly Hills.

After graduating from Vidal Sassoon Academy in Westwood, California, Lorane went on to work at the Sassoon salon in Beverly Hills. There she trained with their international staff, building her own clientele and eventually becoming head of the color department.

After working in New York, Lorane moved back to her hometown of Seattle and began working at Gary Bocz Salon, where she stayed for seven years before opening Salon Matarazzo. She has helped grow the salon into one of the Eastside's premiere studios by training the young colorists who have apprenticed under her and gone on to build their own careers.

With her professional manner and her deep knowledge of color, Lorane has built a faithful clientele.

When she is not doing hair, Lorane is a passionate equestrian, competing in the sport of three-day eventing.

Gwendolyn is a haircut/sculpting specialist. Her specialty is sculpting curly, wavy, fine, limp, frizzy, or hard-to-manage hair. She believes that whether the hair is worn curly, wavy, or straight, the cut should be able to support the hair's natural density and texture.

Her goal is to give every client an individualized style that looks good with minimal fuss and limited styling. Your everyday hairstyle should look great with minimal manipulation and take no longer than 10 minutes to style.

For styles that are exaggerated from the hair's natural texture, the cut itself should help minimize styling time.

Gwendolyn also offers complimentary clean-ups (bang trims and neck trims) in between cuts to keep you looking your best and prolong your haircut.

With 16 years in the industry, Jaime Lynn started her career with Gene Juarez — graduating from the Gene Juarez Academy and the Gene Juarez Advanced Training Salon, where she experienced extensive training in color and mastered all techniques of foiling, balayage, and color. She also traveled to Miami, FL for advanced design and cutting training with Vidal Sassoon.

Throughout her career she has become an educator and mentor, teaching advanced coloring techniques including balayage and foilayage. Globally trained, she feels fortunate to have traveled internationally to Wella Trend Vision, Kevin Murphy Future Love, and Master Balayage Boot Camp, among others — and she believes it is essential to constantly learn, grow, and stay on top of cutting-edge styles.

Jaime truly enjoys the relationships she has built with her loyal clientele, and her precise attention to detail shows in all of her work. Nothing makes her happier than making her clients feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful.

She has a strong passion for self-growth, fashion, makeup, skincare, travel, health, and music — and brings all of it both into her personal life and behind the chair. When Jaime isn't in the salon, she spends her time with family and friends, living a fun, well-balanced life.

Laura joined Salon Matarazzo in January 2010 after graduating from Evergreen Beauty College in Bellevue. Beyond her schooling and training at Salon Matarazzo, she has attended classes globally — in Vancouver, Santa Monica, and Hong Kong — to learn international hair techniques.

She first studied at Suki's Academy in Vancouver, where she was introduced to the Vidal Sassoon curriculum, then went on to intensive hands-on training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica focused on classic looks. Through philosophy and hands-on work, she improved her knowledge of shape, balance, and bone structure.

Laura has also worked one-on-one with the international creative director of Toni & Guy Academy in Hong Kong, learning new techniques for international hair textures, personalizing finishing skills, and reviewing the latest trends from London Fashion Week. She enjoys keeping up with the latest trends and plans to keep traveling to perfect her craft.

Leslie has been coloring hair in Bellevue for over 42 years. A Northwest native, she was born and raised in Bellevue.

She is an amazing colorist with a large and faithful clientele, and we are excited to have her join the team.

Lexi has been a stylist since 1997 and is loved by her loyal clients — she is a true hair artist. She has an impeccable eye for seeing the best cut or color for a client's face and coloring.

Lexi takes the time to talk to her clients about their lifestyles to ensure that their cut not only looks best on them, but is also easy to manage. Her warmth puts her clients at ease, and she is a wonderful listener.

As a true professional, Lexi continually strives to improve as a stylist by regularly attending trainings to learn the latest techniques. In addition to being an excellent colorist and cutter, she is certified in Great Lengths hair extensions — arguably the most superior extensions available.

Morgan started working at Salon Matarazzo in 2013. She attended Evergreen Beauty College, studying cosmetology and business, and in addition to her schooling and training at Salon Matarazzo, she attends classes regularly to stay up to date on the latest styles and techniques.

Morgan has always had a creative eye and a love of hair and beauty. She has been an artist her whole life, and has found a career that lets her use that as a creative outlet.

She has been training alongside Ron and Lorane, learning Sassoon-style cutting and coloring to perfect her craft. With her sweet and caring nature, she will make you feel at ease and welcomed the moment you meet her.

With nearly two decades of experience, Nancy is a highly skilled stylist dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best. Her journey began in 2005 as an apprentice at Obadiah, where she developed her expertise in cutting, balayage, and color correction.

Over the years she has trained with Bumble's academy, Sassoon, and Oribe's mastery program. Nancy expanded her skill set by attending Cinema Makeup School, specializing in bridal airbrush makeup and elegant looks.

Her background also includes experience with men's haircuts, dimensional color, and creative styling. She is known for her vibrant energy, professionalism, and exceptional results.

Peter began his career in Los Angeles in the mid-70s, working at Vidal Sassoon in Beverly Hills. During this time he mastered the precision and geometric techniques of haircutting.

Known for his affable personality, Peter has a remarkable ability to connect with people — making them feel comfortable and valued. After four decades in the industry, he continues to be passionate about his craft and the relationships he builds with his clients.

With over 35 years of experience, Lisa specializes in all hair types. She has extensive education in color, design, and hair-extension techniques.

With many years of experience in Bellevue's beauty industry, Rose is a Senior Hairstylist known for creating personalized, modern looks that enhance each client's natural beauty. Shannon loves creating beautiful new looks for her clients, and says the most rewarding part of this profession is making people feel good about themselves. With her warm and friendly personality, she makes sure to listen to what her clients want, and is very detail-oriented.

It's important to her that each client has an enjoyable and relaxing experience every visit. When she's not at work, she enjoys cooking, boating, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

Tina Responte has been coloring hair since 1995. She was trained at Gene Juarez and is skilled in a variety of color services including root color, foils, comb balayage, bleach and toning, and perms.

She continues her education by attending online classes and classes hosted at the salon. She uses Schwarzkopf color and is experienced in coloring men and women — including accommodating sensitive scalps and clients with allergies.

When Tina isn't at the salon she enjoys riding the sand dunes and spending time with her husband and daughter. As a working mom, Tina knows your time is valuable, so she can get you in and out without sacrificing quality.
